I’ve always been hesitant to give parenting advice but having this fourth one has emboldened me! I feel like I’m ready! I feel like I have some credibility now! So get out your notepads, people, it’s advising time!!!

1. All that stuff you got at your baby shower, and all the rest of that stuff that you bought for your baby off of Amazon, just go ahead and return all of that nonsense. Diapers, wipes, and willpower are all you need! #Relax#NotABabyForever

Brainwashing

God commands parents to teach their children the Bible.

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7

There are people who don’t believe the Bible and don’t think it should be taught to children.  Some claim that parents who teach their children the Bible are brainwashing them.  Those who make this claim are right; children who are taught the Bible are being brainwashed.

Our relationships with God

I used the plural, relationships, in the title because God is a trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and Christians are related to each of these in a different way.  Ephesians 5:22 to 6:9 gives instructions regarding three kinds of human relationship which also serve as illustrations of our relationships with God.
