Praying against our enemies

Jesus commanded that we pray for our enemies.

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.  (Matthew 5:44)

King David once prayed against one of his enemies.

 It was told David, “Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.” And David said, “O LORD, please turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.”  (2 Samuel 15:31)
