An eternal weight of damnation

I live in the United States where I enjoy the constitutional right to practice my religious beliefs and I face very little opposition in serving God.  There are many Christians who don’t have this freedom.  In the Middle East many Christians run the risk of being killed by Muslim extremists.  Persecution of Christians is increasing in China.  India is controlled by a Hindu nationalist party whose goal is to make India a completely Hindu nation.  According to Open Doors North Korea is the place where Christians suffer the most persecution.

Aliens

Is there intelligent life on other planets?  That is a question people have been asking as long as we have known that there are other planets.  When the telescope was invented astronomers discovered that some of the “stars” we see are actually worlds like our own and this led to speculation about whether or not there were people living on them.  We now know that there is no other life in our solar system but the possibility remains that planets revolving around other stars might have intelligent inhabitants.

For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. (Exodus 20:11)
