Happy Adoption Stories?

See, there's this thing called biology...

Ack, sometimes it seems as if the world is just hurling out of control down the side of a mountain, but I did get to experience something pretty positive this week that kind of took my breath away. You really do want to hang on to those moments of surprise and wonder and share the tale.

Anyway, I got to participate in this wonderful adoption story, this woman reunited with her biological parents after 40 years. What really astounded me was how cheerful it all was, how much gratitude was just infused throughout the whole thing. These parents were 18 at the time, backpacking across the country, and not prepared to raise a kid. Besides having no income and no place to live, the biological mom wasn’t sure if they would even remain a couple. Spoiler alert, they did, they got married and they are still together today.
