Actions speak louder than words

Here is something I read on Facebook.

Actions speak louder than words

by Joshua Agan

Watch for those who BEHAVE as though God will be meeting their needs and keeping His promises—not for those who just said they believed it while everything was going well.

Saying that God meets needs is not untrue—but behaving like it is true is where faith comes alive.

“They profess that they know God;
but in works they deny him…”
(Titus 1:16)

“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”
(Matthew 15:8)

In the specific context of money, this Truth is still true during a pandemic, a recession, and persecution:

“But this I say,
He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)”
(2 Corinthians 9:6-10)

Let’s behave like God will meet our needs and make us have all sufficiency in all things, so that we can abound to every good work. Keep on keeping on and be a light in the darkness around you.

Discussing Biblical Authority

For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. (Exodus 20:11)
