Comfort zones

I recently read a Pearls Before Swine comic strip in which Pig and Goat were having a conversation.

Pig said, “I’m starting to think I don’t ever want to die.”

Goat asked, “Why is that?”

Pig replied, “It’s outside my comfort zone. Never leave your comfort zone.”

People naturally like to be comfortable but there are times we must leave our comfort zones if we want to accomplish anything worthwhile. And of course when our time comes to die we will have no choice. But what will it be like after we die?

Some of us have had our sins forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ. For us death will mean entry into an eternal Comfort Zone from which we will never depart. For those whose sins have not been forgiven death will be entry into an eternal Discomfort Zone. They will spend eternity in the lake of fire called Hell.

Whether to submit to Jesus and be forgiven is a decision that must be made in this life. There will be no chance after death. If you want to make this decision but aren’t sure how to do so I suggest you read this:
